Rebecca wins ‘Editor of the Year’ Prize at the National Shine Media School Awards 2025

OsKings’ pupil Rebecca Flinn (Year 10) has scooped one of the major prizes at this years Shine School Media Awards for her editing of Issue 13 of the #Osborne School Magazine. As part of the prize, Rebecca wins a days work experience at a national newspaper. This is a huge achievement, this is a national competition where competition is very high, and Rebecca has demonstrated that she has gone above and beyond to produce this years issue. The Shine School Media Awards are held every year at the Stationers Hall in London. The event includes workshops, talks and a two-course dinner! Rebecca won ‘Editor of the Year’, a joint first place with another Editor. We would like to thank everyone at the Shine School Media Awards and all the other winners and highly commended students. It was a fantastic day and we look forward to the next issue of the magazine next year.
