Night of Rock II raises £105 for Friends of Osborne School
Students from the OsKings’ provision recently lit up Steamtown in Eastleigh with an electrifying live performance of their favourite songs! As members of the vibrant ‘OsJam’ mental wealth music club, the students delivered a powerful mix of rock and pop that had the whole crowd buzzing with energy.
Their passion and confidence shone through every note, and the audience’s cheers only pushed them to perform even bigger and better. The event wasn’t just unforgettable—it was meaningful too, raising an impressive £105 for the school charity, Friends of Osborne School.
The students were followed by the phenomenal band The Roots, featuring talented ex-students alongside our very own staff member, Alex Dupont. This outstanding group completely rocked the venue, delivering a high-energy performance that had the crowd captivated from start to finish. It was truly inspiring to see former students return and perform at such an impressively high standard, showcasing their musical talent and passion in style!
It was a fantastic celebration of music, teamwork, and spirit, and the students absolutely loved every moment of being on stage!
A huge thank you to the amazing team at Steamtown, Eastleigh who provided all the performers with free soft drinks and allowed us to use the venue for free. Another huge thank you to Tim Jackson (Sound engineering) and Scott Chalmers (Photography).
