Oskings’ pupils secure a £300 investment at the 2025 Winchester Sustainability Pyramid ‘Dragons Den’ Event
Olumide and Jonathan (Year 9), with their Dragons’ Sonia White (also our Headteacher), Mary Jackson and Gemma Lacey.
OsKings’ pupils Olumide, Harry and Jonathan from Year 9 have just secured a £300 investment for their sustainability project idea. Pupils in Year 9 have been learning about sustainability in their Citizenship lessons with their teacher Heidi Hack.
Jonathan and Olumide successfully pitched their ideas in an engaging and often hilarious presentation to 5 ‘Dragons’ at the annual Winchester Sustainability Pyramid event held at Sparsholt College. The Winchester Sustainability Pyramid promotes the teaching and education of environmental concerns and promotes sustainability. At the event, Osjam (the band section of Rubik’s Cube) also performed brilliantly.
It was a fantastic event, a huge well done to the pupils, to Osjam, the other schools that took part, and a final thank you should go to Vice-principal Mark Treagust for hosting.
